Among the Awardees are 1st female pilot licensed in Alabama and spouse of a Tuskegee Airman-- Mildred Hemmons Carter (posthumous award); Secret Service Special Agent in Charge Paula Reid, Dr. Sakiliba Mines, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing, Hazel Trice Edney (Truth Awards) and Dr. John Hope Bryant (Good Brother Award).

All Single General Admission Tickets for guests and members are: $100.00.

(Chapter assessment of $1,000.00 will purchase your first table and an ad for your chapter; tables thereafter for chapters only are $750.00. Chapters must have paid chapter dues in order to purchase tables for the discounted price of $750.00. Tables are assigned in the order of which they are fully paid.

If your chapter is unable to pay its full assessment at this time--which may be true for new chapters or chapters in formation, but individual members wish to attend, you may purchase as many tickets as you wish for the general admission price.

Your chapter may sell tickets to members or get a business to purchase ads of any amount to assist you with your chapter assessment. Call or e-mail the office if you have a question.)

You may still confirm rooms at the Capital Hilton Hotel for the special NCBW rate of $169.00, but call soon and mention that you are with NCBW. There is no extra charge for extra persons in the room, but you may request just 1 roll away bed.
