WORKFORCE HOUSING:
We advocate for affordable housing for single women who are key to the workforce of every urban city. YOUNG AMBASSADORS PROGRAM:
We work to involve and honor young people in our programs, and provide high visibility ways for them to participate in community service.  We expand their horizons by arranging for them to meet potential mentors and citizens of high achievement. Participants share the work of NCBW with friends, neighbors and others.

CULTURE OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES:
We work to recognize this yet often overlooked population.  We keep our members aware of ADA and we are dedicated to recognizing the achievements of individuals with disabilities, and the advancement of women within the disability community.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND SLAVERY:
While human trafficking and slavery are challenges around the world, one of our aims is to expose and end this disturbing phenomenon that is still in the U.S.

We prepare our membership for being a part of the Immigration Reform effort. We work in coalitions with other groups to find a pathway to citizenship for our undocumented brothers and sisters.
