We seek the achievement of this goal through the following activities: (1) identifying, selecting and acting as mentors to African-American women; (2) encouraging, without regard to party affiliation, the participation of African-American women in political activities; (3) encouraging African-American women to seek political office and encouraging the appointment of African-American women to positions at all levels of government; and (4) developing and advocating public policy positions at every level of government.
